Short visit in Dec to Yosemite- Worth it?

Thanks Michelle, I didn't get a chance to see this before I left, however we did head to Camarillo and then to the Channel Islands for what ended up being a wonderful trip out in the ocean watching gray whales, sea lions and dolphins! We were there on 27th and we spotted 8 gray whales (they breached and fluked), some 70 sea lions and nearly 700 dolphins as the sun set in the horizon. Truly a memorable experience!!

So, the Channel Islands are the only National Park in CA that I haven't been to. I think it is a must do trip now. Although, I think camping there a night or two and doing some kayaking would be a must for me.

spirobulldog, you must go there.. atleast for us it was an awesome experience.. and I agree about the kayaking too.. we didn't have the time but are thinking of returning for sure.. apparently you get to see Orcas too here.. we would love to see them too.. I have posted a trip report too..if you'd like to read our experience..
