Shopping in Vegas

Where are the best places to go and is the shopping really as fabulous as they say it is?

Well, it really all depends on your budget. A good outlet mall is Las Vegas Premium Outlet. The best 'mall' shopping is at Fashion Show Mall and Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops. For more upscale shopping, Caesar's Forum all the way. But again, this is all my opinion. But yes, you heard right, shopping is really good here. HTH!

Just came back from a trip and included shopping. We went to the above mentioned places in addition to Venetian and Palazzo's stores--which are pretty much the same as you'll find everywhere except for Barney's. Plus there's a new place 'Town Square' that's a little past Mandalay Bay(drive/taxi). Has a few restaurants, park for kids but not all shops were opened.

If you want to see a cool shop, there's this place in Caesar's palace where they sell ancient artifacts. They had a helmet from greece, jewelry from egypt and etc. One tip though, if you want to buy any kind ofrefreshment in the malls in the venetian and Caesars and etc, check the price of what you're buying first! My mother and I were shocked when we accidently bought $8 cups of gelato.

Oh! I forgot. The most scenic shopping is in the Bellagio. There are there gorgeous glass ceilings. It's sunny and warm. We midwesterners were also excited to find some high-falutin stores like Hermes and whatnot. And be sure to go into the Tiffanys--it's go some of the most gorgeous jewelry I've ever seen.

It depends on how much you want to spend. When I stayed at the MGM Grand, there is a ton of shopping over there. And they have store have store with name brands, not just junk. And if and when you're there, stop by and have lunch at Emeralds! Fabulous food!

My favorite shopping at the Strip is in Planet Hollywood - it's called the "Miracle Mile," I think - it used to be the Desert Passage when it was the Aladdin. Great shops & restaurants. The Forum Shops in Caesar's are great, as are the shops in Bellagio. All of the hotels have some shops, others have more - many, many places for you to spend $$!

There's also an outlet mall on the downtown side - right off the 15 where it connects to the 95. Lots of good deals in there - LOTS of stores.

If you love designer fashion, and money is no object, run, don't walk to the Bellagio and Wynn.

Yes, don't forget the Wynn. LV is starting to rival NYC as a shopping destination. Sure, it's very touristy but it has great pools!
