Shopping in Atlanta GA

Remodeling and I need new upholstered chairs, lamps and a rug.

Thinking of long weekend in Atlanta to shop.

Need ideas on where to stay and where to shop.

Casual style but clean. So looking for nice furniture stores but not real pricey.

I'm not even sure where to begin on "nice but not really pricey." And "casual but clean." I have no idea what that means.

Atlanta is full of furniture stores across all price points, and all styles. Here are some places to start, from Creative Loafing's survey of the Best of Atlanta:

Best furniture on a budget - Kudzu Antique Market
Best furniture for hip trust-funders - City Issue
Readers - budget - Ikea
Readers - trust fund - Room & Board

There are also consignment stores:

Scotts Antique Market is HUGE and great. Not every weekend-- www.scottantiquemarket.com

World Market- totally different ballgame- very affordable-- i think everywhere.

Ikea- affordable basic and huge place.
