SHERATON VISTANA RESORT

Hi,

Has anyone stayed at this resort in Orlando. I'm planning to buy a timeshare here, sight unseen. The pictures on the internet are great. Thanks

Hi - I own 2 weeks here at Vistana Resort - I love it. What size unit are you looking in to? I have a 2 bedroom unit - wonderfully spacious - sleeps 8, full kitchen, dining room, living room, washer and dryer.

Resort has 7 pools, miniture golf, 3 restaurants (I think) on site (plus Pizza Hut Express in the Market), tons of scheduled facilities for adults and kids...I highly recommend this property.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Monica

Thanks Monica for the feedback. The unit my husband and I are looking into is 2bed/2bath. We don't currently own a timeshare but have stayed in them and this will be a new experience for us. I'm waiting to speak with my uncle who owns several to find out more about it.

I also like that this property is affiliated with Starwood Hotels (Sheraton/Westin). I am a travel agent so I know their reputation. I also like the Starwood Vacation Network that includes other Starwood Timeshares. Look on their web site for more info - www.starwoodvo.com. I forgot to mention the screened in porch - I spent MANY hours out there reading!

Thanks again Monica. The units are approximately 6-8 years old...how modern do they look on the inside?

Everything looked "up to date" to me - well, the appliances aren't state of the art- but they're probably newer than what I have in my house.

The funiture was ok - not what I would pick myself....wicker in the living room, but not gawdy.....nice colors. I slept really well in the master bedroom (and I'm picky about my beds!)

I'm heading there in June for a family vacation. I have heard to only stay in the Lakes or Cascades sections. Is this true? The resort will not confirm which section we will have until two weeks beforehand. My "confirmation" from Interval says Lakes or Cascades. Will this hold true? Thanks!
