HELP PLEASE
Can anyone give me feedback on either hotel since I will be spending 6 day their

No question Hyatt by a mile. Much more superior hotel and grounds. The Sheraton is actually split in two with a part of the hotel across the street from the main part.

You cannot even really compare the two.

We stayed at Sheraton in May. The rooms are of adequate size, clean, large bathrooms, refrigerator. The pool is small, but nice. The breakfast buffet is adequate, standard fare. The buildings are very close to the water's edge restaurants have nice ocean views. We only had breakfast at the hotel, no other meals. The grounds are much smaller than Hyatt. The garden view rooms are located across the street but are very close. The street is more like a driveway used by the hotels on that street, not busy at all. Some of these rooms probably also have ocean views depending on where the room is. The 3 star rating is accurate for Sheraton.

We visited the Hyatt. The pool area & grounds are much more elaborate and includes an adults only pool. The beach is nice but rough surf. We did not eat here so can't comment.

Depends on where you want to spend your money. We got the Sheraton for $90/night through Priceline. Probably would not have wanted to pay more than that. We had a gardenview room, but on the ocean side of the street.

the hyatt is a complete resort complex, with spa and several restaurants. you cannot swim at the actual beach, but they have a lagoon pretend beach. the sheraton is on a swimmable, though rough, beach. it is more like a hotel than a resort.
the hyatt is very memorable on this island - one of their best properties anywhere.
six days is too long, why not split your time half in poipu, half in the north shore of the island and stay at the sheraton (princeville) there to explore?)
