Sheraton Maui Resort
Does anyone know whether the Sheraton Maui has a good swimming pool for a 10 year old? That is, any water slides, basketball hoops by the side of the pool for water basketball etc?

I do recall seeing water basketball on our stroll through to snorkel at Black Rock during a visit in '03.
Link below describes a package with pool toys:

The pool at the Sheraton is a lot of fun. There's a big, deep area (it might have had basketball, but I'm not sure), and then it sort of winds around, under waterfalls, and has a small waterslide at one point. However, you'll have access to the Westin's pool, which has a huge waterslide and is about a 10-minute walk down the beach.

I haven't been there, but wanted to add that there have been recent reports of Starwood discontinuing pool privledges between their Maui hotels. According to their website as well, it is no longer possible to stay at the Sheraton and use the Westin pool. Just wanted to bring that up, as the post above mentions being able to use the Westin's pool.

arg.. be careful if you jump off those rocks. also of note is that this rock formation has alot of cultural significance to hawaiians. It is thought to be the point where one's spirit jumps off of after death to join the after life. So.. is guess if you must, jump with respect and care.
