My family will be in DC in early June. My husband and I have a 20yr.old, 17yr.old, and 11yr. old. Do you think we would all enjoy the "Sheer Madness" show at the Kennedy Center? Do you think it is worth the $32 I will need to pay for the five of us?

Adrienne,
A couple of years ago we were on a high school band trip to D.C. and took the group(about 150) to Sheer Madness at the Kennedy Center. It was a fun show; they "reinvent" the ending every night. I think our large group of kids had a lot to do with the outcome of the murder mystery that night! It was a little racy but lots of fun and all the kids had a great time.

Is that $32 each? If so, the price has really gone up since I last went a few years ago. You can try getting half-price tickets on the day of the show. You shouldn't have any trouble on the weekends. There's a half-price ticket website for DC. I'm not sure of the address, so just do a search.

We saw Sheer Madness with my parents (70somethings) and our son (12yrs). We all loved it. My son especially liked the interaction between actors and audience. Also we took a scheduled tour of the Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center and play was one of our favorite parts of our week in DC!
