SF restaurant - Capannina
I had the chance to eat at Capannina, a somewhat new Italian restaurant on Union Street in SF. Our excellent dinner included a baked fig & proccutto antipasti, homemade ravioli filled with buffalo milk mozzerella and covered with a wonderful cherry tomato sauce, and our entrees were braised short ribs and rabbit. Everything was great, including the cannolli dessert and super cappuccinos (I forgot what a real good one is like!).
This place is a bit out of the way for most tourists staying downtown, but if your in that area (or a local), it's a definite one to check out. It was like an evening in Capri!
