Senior Citizen passes
I'm going to Alaska June 1, 2008, and plan to camp. When I checked out some of the campgrounds around Denali, it appears you can get a discount if you have a Golden Access Pass or a Golden Age Senior Pass. How do I go about getting one of these?

I bought one last year.
The first time you enter a National Park, you can buy one at the entrance.
It's $10. You must be 62 years of age or older and a US citizen (although they only looked at my drivers license).
Also, you can ask for a hang tag. This hangs from the rear view mirror and holds the pass.
You don't have to hang the pass after entering an NP but in certain areas such as around Sedona where you need a Red Rock parking pass, the Senior pass is accepted in its place. Since they check parking lots you have to hang the pass.
The pass is good for the car (and I believe up to four occupants regardless of age).
When you benter an NP they'll you show the pass and your drivers license.
That's it. Great deal!!!!
