Seeking beautiful place to get married in Mexico

Any recommendations for a beautiful place in Mexico? Ideally at a small hotel or villa by the beach. We are currently researching around Puerto Vallarta (Sayulita, Mismaloya)and Riviera Maya (Tulum/Akumal). Any recommendations on places to stay? Would greatly appreciate any advice even places not to stay.

Ikal del Mar on the Riviera Maya looks like an idyllic honeymoon spot!

I nominate "mikemo's" place in MX.
He may be able to cut you a deal on the wine!

Hi all,

My son and DIL were married in an ancient British village (Hambleton, England) in July - it was really amazing and the Hambleton Inn was world class.
I would consider that venue if I were married again.

That said, I think San Miguel de Allende,MX is a close second.

Sorry, It's Hambleton Hall, not Inn - the Brits are going to skin me yet once again.

Unless you're already familiar with Mexico and have a certain place and feel in mind, your best bet will almost certainly be one of the resort areas along the Mayan Riviera (i.e., the Caribbean coast between Cancun and Playa del Carmen).

A lot of the bigger resorts there even have wedding coordinators on site who can help you with all the arrangements. (I've heard that the Palace Resorts chain really caters to the wedding crowd...)

Good luck!
