Best Mexican honeymoon

For those familar with Mexico, I am struggling with where to honeymoon over the holidays. I would like an intimate place with somewhat secluded / very romantic rooms. The kind of place you could just hang out at and relax - just slowly pass the time. Thanks for any help.

Maroma south of Cancun on the Mayan Riviera.
There are also some less pricey places in Playa del Carmen which would fit the bill nicely too.

Check out www.differentworld.com

It's a internet travel agent with EXTENSIVE reviews of properties and LOTS of pictures.

I emailed them once giving them the criteria i was seeking and i got a very personalized, detailed, and pertinent (NOT a form letter) reply back from them.

We chose ceiba del mar which you can see on their website. It's not a very well known resort as it's new, and we had friends that have stayed there and said it was a great value. They have some packages also which you can see on their website.
You may want to consider the Tankah/Tulum area of the Mexican Caribbean. Our villa, Casa Tropical(http://CasaTropical.com) is located on a private, 1/2 acre beachfront property in Tankah, 3 miles north of the famous Tulum ruins and a 1 hour drive south of the Cancun airport. Here you will find the perfect mix of privacy, adventure, romance, beautiful beaches and great restaurants . Go to bed listening to the waves just a few feet away, get up and watch the sun rise, snorkel, visit ancient ruins, sunbathe, swim in cenotes, jungle style. It really is a special, romantic place to spend your honeymoon or special occasion. I never miss spending my anniversary here.

We've just returned from honeymoon at Esperanza Resort at Cabo San Lucas. It's about 4 miles outside the town on a private beach.
I'd thoroughly recommend it. Service is better than anywhere I've experienced outside Asia. The rooms are beautiful with large patios.
There are two pools and two beaches, with two restaurants, which are all excellent. If your gym goers, the gym is the best hotel gym I've ever seen!
It's a superb place to stay, and brand new, so everything is pristine.

"Las Hadas" in Manzanillo!!.
We had a wonderful week there about 5 years ago, and after that we went to many beautiful places on vacations,(Caribean cruise, Alaskan cruise, Greece, many times to Banff and Jasper in the canadian rockies, Vancouver, Victoria, etc, etc) but "las Hadas" was very special, very romantic and relax, and they have a beautiful little private beach. We never forget those beautiful sunsets, and watching the sun come up, early in the morning, fantastic! with all those diferent tones of pink! We have to go back one of these days!! Just remembering! I feel so much like going back....
I hope you find a beautiful place to go, there are so many ! good luck!
