Sedona Trip Report
Just back from Sedona.
Flew American from Boston. Connceted via Chicago on way out and Dallas on way back. No problems with airports/security/etc. On time all the way.
Stayed at Sedona Summit Resort (timeshare). Good resort but construction underway which made for noise and lack of views.
Took Pink Jeep Tours twice (Broken Arrow--the best--and Rattlesnake Gulch). Great trip. This is the way to see the area, if you don't hike. Took a tour to Grand Canyon one day. Did a bus tour so I wouldn't have to drive. Did 2 other day trips: THe Meteor Crater and Walnut Creek Canyon. Both outstanding, but it was windy the day we were there. Also did a trip to Painted Desert/Petrified Forest Nat. Park. Also spectacular but a longer drive.
Otherwise drove around Sedona taking in the spectacular sites.
Restaurants: Great lunches at Roberts Creekside, Rene at Tlaquepaque. Great dinners at Cowboy Club, L'Auberge de Sedona (5 star and expensive), Oaxaca (twice), and the best--Shugrues Hillside.
Shopping: Touristy stuff everywhere. Downtown and Tlaquepage nice. Best buys on Indian jewelery at the Overlook atop Oak Creek Canyon.
Any questions, email me.

Did not fish but fly/trout fishing is reportedly good and we saw lots of fisherpeople. There is even a "Trout Farm" where you can fish without a license (private land) and pay only for what you catch.
We did not get to Enchantment. It was on our "to do" list. I would love to go there for lunch.
There are lots of places with views. Even the McDonalds has a view. We actually enjoyed the places on the creeks. (L'Auberge, Roberts Creekside, etc cause you could see and hear the water. Very romantic.)

Um, Karen - we will not go back to Enchantment. While my wife Caroline was having the time of her life, I was looking at all of the "extras" that kept piling up on our bill. It was nice to visit once, but I can think of other places/ways to spend a small fortune. Just mho.

Sorry, Al, seems the husband is always the last to find out.
Caroline and I have been seeing each other for several months now.
But I'm returning her to your stable at this point (ridden hard and put away wet).
She's just too d*mned expensive for my budget and ohmygosh that *snoring*. Can you still hear, my man? How do you even sleep at night?
Anyway, sorry for any inconvenience.
You can keep your Enchantment, Gucci and Prada bills.
I'm going to go get some sound sleep for a change.
