Sedona lodging--NEED ADVICE!!!

I'll be staying in Sedona for 3 nights but can't seem to decide on where to stay--too many choices!! I'm not limited to any specific criteria--just a moderately priced room for 2. Thanks in advance for your help.

We stayed at the Best Western Inn of Sedona at 1200 West Hwy.89A. The views were spectacular, plus it is convenient to several beautiful sights. It has an outdoor pool plus a jacuuzi. Call 1-800-292-6344 or e-mail: [email protected] website: www.innofsedona.com

Yes to The Best Western Inn of Sedona. Call Best Western 800# for best rates. Ask for all applicable discounts. And when you arrive or have confirmed reservations ask for a room on the 3rd floor (actually the ground floor) with the rear view facing north! Wonderful accommodations and great view!

Yes, Southwest Inn is just west of the Dry Creek Rd. intersection with Hwy. 89A. For a third choice, Sky Ranch Lodge on Airport Mesa, 500' above Sedona with 60-mile panoramic view. Phone 1-800-288-7336 and ask the Sedona C. of C. to send you their free 70-page booklet "Experience Sedona." Has all the places to stay with price ranges, amenities, phone #, etc. Suggested activities, places to eat, etc. Or check the web site -- sedonachamber.com.

I just made reservations for a Sedona stay in October. Got a nice rate from Kokopelli Inn a bit outside town near Bell Rock. The desk clerk pointed out that their sales/use tax is about a third of lodgings in downtown Sedona. The Inn is a new property and has a website.

Have you looked into any of the Bed & Breakfasts? We are also going to be visiting Sedona for 3 nights. For our vacation, we have tried to find lodging accomodations that are different or unique. We found several nice B&B's moderately priced in Sedona. In fact, we located a certificate that we are using for one of our nights free.

If interested check out Briar Patch Inn, A Touch of Sedona, Graham Inn/Adobe Village, Boots & Saddles, and A Territorial House. We are staying at the latter. It's a traditional type B&B as opposed to cabins or individual units like some are now. The "one free night certificate" is in the American Historic Inns' book "Bed & Breakfasts and Country Inns" and can be used at any of those but Briar Patch. The Innkeepers at TH could not have been any nicer--in fact I did not even have to present my certificate (they told me to keep it and use again somewhere).

Brooke, and you thought we were going to make this easy for you? There are indeed too many choices in Sedona and I don't think you can really go wrong, it'
s all so beautiful. If you wanted a charming small inn with great hosts, good breakfasts and little porches that overlook the creek, check out the Inn on Oak Creek. Enjoy lovely Sedona.
