Sedona Lodging Help
We will be in Sedona for two nights in mid March. We narrowed price to Days Inn or La Quinta (not familiar with either). Would like comments, please. Would like in $100 range - view would be ideal. Do we have to go to $150 for a nice place that is convenient? Suggestions very welcome. Everything seems expensive after March 1. Hubby can't hike or walk too much so we need to have decent room. Thanks.

Altho we never stayed there, we booked at the Hampton Inn Sedona because of its good reviews and location. We got a really good deal booking directly with the hotel and if you have AARP or AAA it'll probably be within your price range. Don't know about the DAys Inn or La Quinta.

I think that Sky Ranch Lodge was where we stayed...not sure...but if it is up on the hill near the airport I think it is wonderful. Great views down to (touristy) Sedona and red rocks across the valley. A kind of "kitchenette' in the room, swimming pool, wonderful gardens. Check it out to see if it is the place I am talking about. NO WAY would I stay down in the dregs of touristy Sedona if I had this choice.
FWIW.

Thanks for your help. We are still looking. Our first choice (Matterhorn) has been sold out for a while and so is Hampton Inn. Sky Ranch gets pricey quick when you go for the view. Without the room view I don't see the advantage. Thanks again.
