Sedona Lodging..?Sky Ranch Lodge or Hampton Inn Sedona or Best Western Inn of Sedona?
We are in a quandy after reading conflicting reviews of hotels in Sedona on some of the travel sites. Looking for a clean hotel with pool, hot tub/jacuzzi and breakfast. (2 Queens needed) Has anyone here stayed at the Sky Ranch Lodge recently or have any comments on it? We'd like to stay in the 100-130 range if possible. Going to Sedona for the views, so we'd like to experience that. Don't need alot of the downtown scene, but will be nice to walk around some. Can anyone suggest anything that worked for you?
Thanks for all your suggestions!

We stayed at the Sky Ranch a few years ago. It's located on a plateau above the city, so the views from the area are great. It is a large motel like complex with some beautiful landscaping. The rooms were large, airy and clean with little private patios, picnic tables, etc. I can't remember if there were hot tubs. The only drawbacks I can think of were the location was about 10 minutes outside downtown up a winding road. Also a small airport was next door, and planes started to crank up about 7:30 am and could awaken late sleepers. The airport did have a good restaurant on premises. Not a 4* luxury resort, but I would have no problems staying there again.

Hi..
We are staying at the Best Western Inn of Sedona at the end of Feb and the rate I got from Expedia is $112.00 a night with 2 Queen beds, small fridge and 3rd floor views of Red Rock and it has a 12 man hot tub and pool and free breakfast, Hi-Speed internet and a free shuttle to take you into to town if you don't feel like driving.
La Quinta further down the road at $99 night with 2 Queens on Expedia but on there website it is $80..
March all prices go up with high season kicking in.
I am doing the hike this time to Boynton Canyon..Can't wait!

Hi NEtripper: I just saw your question, am guessing that you have already made a decision??
I live in Sedona, relatives are coming next month, so I've spent all week looking at rooms, comparing amenities and rates. My choice would definately be the Sky Ranch Lodge! No breakfast, however a very "cool" restaurant is one block away at the airport. Great food, and you can watch the planes take off and land. Have a wonderful trip! Holly
