Sedona lodging....Best Western Arroyo question

I've read in a few places that the BW Arroyo has a lot of time shares. Is this a problem? Any concerns?

When we stayed there a few years ago our only dissatisfaction was noise from machinery (a/c? pool?) when we walked out on the balcony to survey the fabulous view.

I stayed at BW Inn of Sedona.

Right at the "Y" but up a small hill so no road noise.

The main level is actually the top level. There are certain rooms that have a front and back door.

One door goes to the parking lot and the other door goes to a large, shared patio that faces Chimney Rock. Fantastic view.

There will be no problem with the timeshare stuff at BWAR. The property does also have a timeshare section, called Arroyo Roble Resort. But that is, I believe separate from the BW. I haven't heard anyone, on any travel forum, complain of timehsaer people at the BWAR. If in doubt, call and ask.

Is it worth the extra money to stay at BWAR rather that Sky Ranch Lodge. HOw's the location of BWAR?
