Sedona: Best Western Inn or Comfort Inn?

Hi,

I'm trying to decide between these 2 hotels... Does anyone have any input that might help me make the better choice. FYI - the Best Western is $30/night than the Comfort Inn... is it worth it?

Thanks in advance!

We stayed at the Best Western Inn of Sedona and we enjoyed it. I would go back. The views were spectacular from our balcony. They also offered a decent continental breakfast.

We just got back after a couple of days at the Comfort Inn. The hotel was clean and fairly well-located, but I thought the management was mediocre. They ran out of spoons and cereal before 8am at breakfast, and the breakfast attendant ended up having to go to the Circle K next door on her own to buy supplies while we all waited. (She came back with Honey Comb and Corn Pops.) They ran out of a few other things, too, like orange juice and fruit. We asked the person at the front desk for help and they didn't seem to care much or take any responsiblilty to help the breakfast person out.

Previous poster again:

The pool and other facilities at the Comfort Inn were fine, except that there was no elevator to the second floor. They didn't let us check in 20 minutes before check-in time. I know that they're not obligated to do this, but it almost seemed like a power play by the front desk person. I'll try someplace else next time.
