Seattle/Vancouver Itinerary?
Hi-- Heading to Seattle for 10 days in the beginning of August. Flying into Seattle, thinking we'd spend about 4 days there (any must-see spots?) then drive up to Vancouver (again, any must-sees?). I'd appreciate any suggestions/tips you might have. Thanks!

Lots of threads on this subject in the forum- might want to do a search.
That said-
Seattle: Pike's Place Market (of course), top of Space Needle (if you've never been), Bellevue Mall (for upper tier stores, if you're a shopper), the Experience Music Project/Sci-fi museum (if you're at all interested in popular music or Sci-fi), Seattle underground tour, down on the piers: eat at Ivars if you like seafood and there's an interesting pirate/ nautical themed shop too. Whidbey Island is popular. Boeing as well.
Vancouver: Don't know about Vancouver- Try to make to Victoria! Empress hotel, great city tour, the gardens, the Natural History museum.
Day trips from Seattle (since I'm assuming you'll have a car)- Mt. Rainier park, Port Townsend, Snoqualmie falls, Bellingham is great and very "arty". Tacoma glass museum is supposed to be interesting.
As you can see- Seattle "must-see" spots are very subjective, depending on your interests
Personally, I think Seattle's a great city just to get lost in!
Have a great time!!

My best memories:
Seattle - bus tour to Mt Rainier, walking on the glacier
Vancouver - beluga whales show in the zoo and that tacky horse carriage ride in the park
Don't flame me, my time there was very limited, with 2 elderly people to take car of.

Woodinville (Seattle suburb) has some wineries (St. Michelle, Columbia, Silverlake, DeLille, Januik to name a few), I believe over 60 total.
See www.woodnvillewinecountry.com.
Please keep in mind that generally, these wineries are not as scenic as what you'd find in Napa or other more developed wine districts. In fact, few grapes are grown in Woodinville. And those that are, are only grown for looks.
If no vehicle, you could have a driver www.washingtonwinetours.com escort you around. I believe they'll also make tasting appointments for you or at least know the schedule.
