Great photos, but a slight labeling correction. Image No. 17 is labeled as the jail. Not quite; it's the old King County Administration Building. The jail is across the street (connected by our own Bridge of Sighs)and is both newer and more attractive.

That's not to say, however, that the admin building isn't jail-like. If you think it's ugly outside, you should see it on the inside.

Hello bluestar, I love your photos. Seattle is a beautiful city. And the Roach Catering truck..that was fun!

Nice photos. I always urge folks to go up in the Columbia Tower on a nice day...unfortunately, it's closed on weekends. But the views from there really are the best.

Thanks for the correction Gardyloo. I asked a local who was standing next to me when I took the photo what the building was and they said it was the jail. By the looks of it, they could have told me it was an experimental 1960s era dungeon & torture chamber and I would have believed it. Hideous edifice.
