Seattle Kubota Garden Pictures
For any who are interested, I've added an album of pretty nice photos of lovely Kubota Garden in Seattle to my Webshots collection of photos. It's a bit of a break from my usual assortment of tropical island shots, but long overdue. It's meant to show the beauty of the place throughout all 4 seasons, but as of now only Fall and Winter are shown. More photos will be added as the year cycles.
Kubota Garden is truly on of the hidden gems of the Seattle area and well worth a look for those with any interest in beautiful landscapes, flowers, or greenery.
Feel free to take a peek. You can find the photos here (on page 2):

Hope you find these of interest.

Hi again Wendy,
Yeah, I live just across the valley from Kubota (on the far side of Boeing Field). My house looks down upon the Duwamish and the old "Duwamish Drive-in site. Kubota's about 5-10 minutes from my house (depending on the traffic lights coming across the valley).
Getting cold here today isn't it? Sure makes me long for the South Pacific again (I'm sure you know what I mean).

The gardens are in south Seattle - see www.kubota.org for directions. I was involved in establishing the historic landmark designation for them some years ago and am pleased to see them mentioned. Indeed one of Seattle's hidden gems.
There's no fee to visit (part of Seattle Parks now) but a contribution to the foundation is a nice gesture. Note facilities are pretty minimal.
