Seattle hotels - downtown

Looking for recommendations for a mid-June stay in (preferably downtown) Seattle - attending conference at convention center - ok with small room, has to be clean, quiet and within 15 walking distance or 15 minute bus ride of convention center

Hotels in Seattle during the summer/cruise season are very expensive. Do you have a budget max?

We stayed at the Renaissance and liked it. Stayed on points, so I'm not sure of the price point.

Stayed at Homewood suites 2-3 years ago, which I believe is just uphill from the conference center. At the time it was a more cost effective than some other locations, but we had kids with us so that might have been a factor. If memory serves there was a highway next door, so the side of the hotel was kind of important (for sound purposes).
