Sea-Tac Hotel rec's?

Hi - I need a hotel recommendation for Sea-Tac. I'm looking for something moderate in price, clean, not-a-dump-but-not-the-Ritz-either kind of place. Closer to the airport better than farther, but also don't want to be kept up all night as 747's whiz by. Suggestions? (I'm was thinking of the WestCoast Gateway, but am open to any "better" suggestions.
Thank you.

This is a tailor-made opportunity for Priceline.com. Go to www.biddingfortravel.com to see recent winning bids for the Seatac area; anything 2 stars or better will be just fine.

Seatac has pretty restricted operations in the middle of the night (1-5AM) so I wouldn't worry too much about the noise factor.

Thanks fo the advice. I'm not really a Priceline person - I much prefer to spend a bit more and know exactly what I am paying for, that it will definitely have a hotel shuttle and that I can cancel if need be. Can anyone else either remark on the WestCoast Gateway or make another recommendation?
Thank you.

I just got back from a few nights at Sea-Tac and I stayed at the new Fairfield Inn for $59/night (if you have a coupon, valid thru 10/31). The noise factor as very minimal and my room had an awesome view of Mt. Ranier. Free airport shuttle, free breakfast.

Here is the link for the coupon...

http://www.seeseattle.com/coupons/

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and under LODGING: SEA-TAC AREA click on
Fairfield Inn by Marriott.

Print your coupon and be sure to bring it with you and mention it when you call to reserse the room.

Hope this helps!

Hi Ava

We stayed at the West Coast Ses-Tac last year the night before a flight and it was fine. Large, clean room, space to repack all our gear, prompt shuttle at 5 am, typical, mediocre hotel restaurant. Paid $80 in 2001
