Sea Island, Georgia
Will be staying at the Cloisters, on Sea Island, Georgia the beginning of June. I am very interested in any recommendations you may have for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing and daytripping. Thank you.

Take the meal plan (not inexpensive). Otherwise, you'll need to drive to each meal. The Cloister offers some very good dining, including Colt & Allison's (which also requires a drive) and the Main Dining Room. No real shopping on Sea Island, though some small shops. Day trip to St. Simons and Jekyll. The Cloister has built a reputation for its outdoor activities, with great children's programs.

My family has been going to Sea Island every year for over 30 years. It is a wonderful place. We typically go for a month so we have lots of time to try new restaurants. If you have a car, some great restaurants on St. Simons include: The Crab Trap, Crab Daddy's, Chelsea's, J.Mac's, and Barbara Jean's. Taking the Sea Island van over to the Golf Club for dinner or to St. Simons's Golf Club (the Davis Love Grill) are also nice options - I am not sure if they are included in the meal plan or not since we always stay in a cottage. Have a great time!
