Scottsdale area/Taliesen pm visit

First, pardon my spelling of Taliesen!!! I am going to be in Scottsdale/Phoenix in a couple of weeks and wanted to do the evening tour of Taliesen. I was hoping someone wold know if I need to make a reservation now, or would it work to do it once I arrive there and know more about my schedule? Thanks for your info-any other must sees are appreciated. Thanks- Mo

Check their website. When I was there they only offered the night tour on Fridays during the summer. You may or may not have an option.

I STRONGLY recommend the night tour. I loved it. Actually, I've done it twice.

You do not need reservations, plenty of tours run very often, so if you have to wait, it will be a shortone.

If you know it is Friday, then I'd go ahead and make a reservation. If you miss a day tour, you can take the next one and browse the gift shop while you wait. You can't do that during the only night tour.

At least call/email and ask their recommendation.

We just did a 3 pm tour on Friday. It was really nice. We did a 90 minute tour. We liked having the freedom to not make a reservation, as you just never know what will come up and where you might be or what if you change your plans.

We enjoyed the tour, the 90 minutes was just about right time and they have them on the half hour at this time of year.

FYI -depending on where you are coming from -- it has been chilly [read that cold] here at night, so if you do go at night - dress accordingly].
