Savannah Radisson Hotel Historic district question

I would like to get some info on the Radisson hotel in Savannah. It is in the historic district on Bay street. Does anyone have any experiences with this hotel. Specifically how is the location? Is it safe to walk at night. How far to Lady & Sons? Any other advice or comments will be welcome. We are only staying one night in October as a stopover point.

I haven't stayed in the Radisson but it has a great location, and is only a block or two over from Lady & Sons, and yes, I consider it safe to walk in the area in the early/mid evening, from hotel to dinner, etc. Now I am careful, anywhere, after it gets later at night, and few people are around.

And do go to Lady & Sons.......... just the best if you like real Southern cooking!
