Hi Jayneann,
Thought I would follow up and found your last post which I had missed. I do live south of Boston. Too funny! Anyway, we ended up staying at the Holiday Inn for 3 nights and it was fine.We got poolside thanks to your tip. The trip to the beach was no more than 5 minutes. Parking was not a problem no matter what time we got to the public beach. It was absolutely gorgeous- even prettier than I had remembered from 15 years ago!Then we spent a week in Fort Lauderdale which I also love. Truthfully, I love all of Florida!!The last few days much of the beach on A1A was blocked off due to the Air and Sea show which was coming this weekend. We actually found a few new spots on the beach because of the detours so it worked out all right.Its really a pain feeding those meters though, so its important to travel with a supply of quarters.One day we spent on Pompano Beach and that was great because there is a huge lot across the street where you could park all day for $1.50. Hate to be back home in this awful weather again.
