Sarah, you asked about Hawaii so I'll answer on this chit-chatty thread of ours. I've been to Hawaii four (or is it five?) times..... the first time for ten days, after that 14 to 16 days each time. My big sister goes almost every year, and we I.M. everyday the whole time she is there, so she gives me updates on everything. She goes for about seven weeks at a time, so she's a wealth of information. It's time to go again!

Do you go there often?

I come on this forum when I am in Hawaii. I always get a kick out of posting from the beach if I can. But not everyday. I need to find a sister like that!!!

I am living in Raleigh, NC, Sarah, though I am from the Western Piedmont region of the state. Do you go to Hawaii often?

This is the first summer I have skipped in about six. Lived there in the mid 90's and have been going back ever since.

I always think people going regularly to hawaii are going to be from the west coast. Italy is the only other contendor Hawaii has in my heart. But I have never been to polynesia, Asia or New Zealand. Different kind of trip Italy though.

I do have a screen saver of Hanalei bay and I do look at condo rentals for a pick me up.

Hey bonnie ever go to webshots community online? You can download screen savers of your favorite place anywhere, free. Just people's vacation photos but often very nice. I have had the Kalalau trail as a screen saver, alakai swamp. Each one is harder to delete when I change for a new view.
