Charleston and Savannah - Any advice?
Hello-
Planning on taking a trip to Charleston and Savannah Sept 27-Oct 4th. Does anyone have any tips on hotels, attractions, restaurants, must-sees? Thanks!

There are a multitude of posts on here, particularly about Charleston. Please do a littel research & we'll be happy to answer specific questions once we have an idea of what you are seeking. From things to do, to price ranges to whatever.

I stayed at a B&B on King Street -- great location (quiet at night and was able to walk to all sites). You might want to check tripadvisor. I ate at Hanks and SNOB (Slighly North of Broad). I suggest you visit at least one of the planations: Magnolia, Drayton Hall, Bonne Hall (there might be more).
The visitors center will be able to answer questions re your interests.
I LOVED CHARLESTON - clean, safe, lots of history, tours for every interest available.
I also visited Savannah about two years ago. I stayed at a B&B there as well (would not recommend; walls too thin). Also, lots of history/sites. Don't miss the River Walk; you can almost 'see' the old ships pulling up to transport cotton. I went in April and although it was about 80 degrees, it was HUMID.
