Santa Fe grocery store?

I'm going to Santa Fe in about a month with my mom and aunt. We are renting a casita to stay in and will be arriving pretty late at night. We would like to at least grab some food for our first breakfast on the way from the airport to the house. Are there any 24 hour grocery stores, or would we be jsu as well off to grab something at a gas station to get through the first night/morning?

Thanks for your help!

I don't know what part of Santa Fe you'll be staying in, but there are several grocery chains there - Smith's, Albertson's, Wild Oats, and Whole Foods all have stores in the city.

Are you flying into Albuquerque? There is a 24-hour Super Wal-Mart at Carlisle and Menaul, just north of I-40. It would be pretty easy to get there - head east on I-40 from northbound I-25, get off at Carlisle (the first exit), turn left, go up to Menaul and it's a block north of that on your left. There's also a Wild Oats at that exit; turn right instead of left and it's on your right on the corner of Carlisle and Indian School.

If you'd rather stay on I-25, you can exit at Montgomery/Montano. Go right (east) on Montgomery past Carlisle, Jefferson, and Monroe, and there is an Albertson's on the right at San Mateo and Montgomery.

Or you can exit at San Mateo/Osuna, turn right, and there is another Wild Oats at the corner of San Mateo and Academy.

Hope that helps!

Thanks so much! That's exactly the info I was looking for. I tried searching for grocery stores/supermarkets but could only find yellow pages listings for bodegas, which will be nice to explore, but not for 1am shopping for necessities on the way in to town.

Not that they'd be open at 1:00am, but we heard from our innkeeper last week that Trader Joe's has recently opened a store in town too.

Yes, there is a Trader Joe's on St. Francis Drive at Cordova, across the street from Wild Oats. The Whole Foods store is about a block north of St. Francis on Cerrillos. None of these stores will be open at 1 a.m., though.
