I looked at previous posts and I am trying to decide which restaurant to choose for dinner next weekend in Santa Cruz for my husband & me:

Ristorante Avanti
Oswalds
Costa Brava downtown
Pearl Alley Bistro

All were recommended a while ago and staff and chef often change in the restaurant business. Any particular recommendation?

I hate to top this thread by another week, but this HAS to be an advertisement. My Thai is a long ways away from being in the same company as the superior restaurants mentioned by OP.
