Santa Barbara Hotel

It's not in the center of town but there's a 50cent trolley that passes by going back & forth. At night you'd use taxi or Uber.
It's an older hotel, renovated 6 or 7 years ago, that doesn't get very good reviews. We have been there for happy hour but have not stayed. If you want to stay on the East Beach side of town I would look at Santa Barbara Inn.

We just stayed at the West Beach Inn again and like it a lot. The price is about the same as the Hyatt Centric, but it’s much closer to State Street. It’s about three blocks east of Stearns Wharf, and very close to the Funk Zone, with lots of restaurants, music venues, and wine and beer bars. Our adult children love the location.
