San Francisco Union Street or Marina restaurant

Looking for a fun restaurant in the Marina/Union Street area.
Any feedback on Brazen Head or Izzy's?

Brazen Head is a dark, clubby, carnivore's dream come true. In my opinion, however, the best restaurant in the area is Betelnut.

I agree with Gekko. My favorite is Betelnut. We met a niece who used to live in the neighborhood at Izzy's and must admit we had great steaks there, but I didn't see anything special about it.
The Mexican place on Chestnut (La Marimba??) is fun and has good food.

Highly recommend Pane e Vino at Steiner & Union--wonderful place, reasonably priced (check out their garden where they grow all their herbs and veggies.)

I love Izzy's! It is one of my favorite restaurants. The creamed spinich is fantastic and prices are very reasonable. I prefer the booths to tables and it can sometimes get crowded on weekends. When we have friends visit from overseas looking for steak, we always take them there. (P.S. The fillet mignon au poivre is killer!!)
