San Francisco T-Day Buffett

We are doing out annual trip to San Francisco--this year we want to have T-Day dinner with friends in San Francico and would like a Buffet for everyone's choice.

Can anyone think of any options around San francisco area? We are staying Union Square Grand Hyatt..and will have a car..

I believe a number of downtown hotel restaurants do Thanksgiving, so I would check the Hyatt itself. I know the Place does a classic --but expensive--buffet in the Garden Court. As does Champton Place.

We ate at the Marriott's Thanksgiving buffet a couple of years ago and I thought it was pretty darn good (although if truth be told, I liked it because I didn't have to cook or clean up!). My family liked it well enough, but wouldn't bite when I suggested it the following year (they prefer Thanksgiving at home....darn )
