San Francisco question

I wonder, how many have been to the Great American Music Hall in SF, or even know it exists?

It's on the list of the 6 (six!) most important sites to see on CNN.

Well... I never been!

It's O'Farrell between Larkin and Leavenworth, and I think it shows nude alternating with occasional punk bands, but I may be wrong is I was not really interested.

Faina,

I have rocked and rolled at the Great American many a time. Beautiful turn of the century interior with long upstairs galleries flanking the main floor - lots of space to sit down as well as mill about. I like it a bit better than the Fillmore.

I think you are confusing the "nude" with the Great American's next door neighbor, the Mitchell Brothers strip house.

We went to a holiday party there once, lovely classical place. The party dress code was black tie optional, we were fully clothed and so was everyone else!

Hot Tuna is there Wednesday night. That and their sister club Slims are two of the best live music venues in SF.

Oh, I probably saw the sign of the brothers and decided it's the music hall! Sorry, no more assumptions looking at anything from a bus window

A side question, while typing I thought, why is it brothers and brothels have such a similar spelling?

Razzle, we gotta go together! I don't want to be the only one over... ummm... 40 Or even over 30!
