We like La Playa in Carmel. Nice location, about 1/2 way between the center of town and the beach.

Perfect, will look it up! What about hotel in Cambria or San Simeon area? Any recommendations?

What's your budget per night? We like La Playa, too, but it's pretty expensive.

Just peruse Booking.com for the San Simeon area. It's only one night, and you'll probably check in late in the day. You could include Cambria in your search, but rates will probably be higher.

The Pacifica Hotels group has several properties in Cambria and surroundings. They sometimes run special promotions. Check it out.
