Had yet another great stay in SF this weekend and we survived a 10k and half-marathon.
Tried Hard Water for dinner last night. A Charles Phan resto. If you or your Hubs like whiskey, good place to stop.
Oh...and our gumbo, blistered peppers and chicken and waffles were outstanding!!
New Orleans themed menu, GREAT whiskey selections and quite a funky design.
Pier 3, a short walk towards FishWharf from the Ferry Bldg. Posted some pix at "that other place".

I am getting a quote on transportation to HMB and will decide based on that. I think we might go in that direction. I might surprise my husband...he would love HMB and it will be nice for him to have a quiet weekend based on his current schedule. Still deciding...

Half Moon Bay is suburban, and part of it is on the ocean - the Ritz is 3-1/2 miles from the restaurant It's Italia. I guess you could take cabs, but I honestly don't know how available they are. I also think a car service to HMB would be much pricier than a car rental, but maybe not. Without a car, you couldn't even take a drive along the ocean.
