It looks like Pied Piper at Palace hotel is the most central place for everybody, close to Iregeo's hotel, by BART station if MMS can make it, OK for me and Leely.

And I looked up on the Internet - they have chairs around small tables, so we can sit and chat.

If drinks are not enough, and we want to make it a dinner - the Garden Court is an excellent place, and there are 2 more - great celection!

So... approved? confirmed? Oh, the time... I can be there 5.30 the earliest. How late should I stay there to wait for everybody?

I can make it by 6.

But I don't need the Palace if others prefer Bix. I'm downtown anyway, working my little fingers to the bone.

Thanks, Faina, for arranging this. I'm looking forward to hearing about your Switzerland plans (yep, I'm also a Europe board and an Africa board addict).

Amazing, a GTG, viral posters again, crying troll. Too bad if the GTG planners were to pay any attention to grumblers. Missed their meds I suspect. Anyway keep posting, we'll be there.

So... is Monday, March 21, 6 pm, Pied Piper OK with everyone?

Leely, I'm being selfish in this case, Palace location is much better for me.

Iregeo, do you need directions?

Sobe, don't worry, be happy

BTW, do you think some more Europe board people would come if this were posted there, too? Just a thought.

Ahh, Iregeo, don't break my heart, I don't have a pin!! Do I have a name tag from my very first Fodor's get-together? I'll check at home.

Hi!

I'm from the Europe board...relatively new! I live in Marin County and will be able to make it. Am I welcome? I don't want to impose. I will probably be blathering on senselessly about my first trip to Paris (first trip out of US!!!) on April 1st.

Sure, you're welcome. Let's see who wins: your trip to Paris or mine to Zurich

Hey, I can sing russian songs real loud if you want to spot me easily

Iregeo, as you are our main guest I sent you an e-mail with more info.

Hooray, my boss just said let's all go home.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Joan, according to another advice, SobeHappy was PCSmiles or PCHsmiles, something like this. Now I am almost curios to meet in person

Hi, Faina, thx for the GTG update. Pied Piper, for sure? BTW, do you actually know this joan, lol, she or he seems like a miserable shrimpy twit. Always ragging somebody with a nasty twitch. Reported to Fodors before but apparently doesn't know how to behave. Several posters say "joan" is a male restaurant worker in jersey.

Sobe, no, haven't met Joan yet, and don't remember any nasty posts with her name. Remember mine deleted

Pied Piper it is.

Sobehappy has met me and knows what I look like, that I am originally from NJ and own a seafood restaurant in Fla. Thus the nasty insults. The rest is lies. Notice he gives no examples of threads where I "rag somebody with a nasty twitch" nor what I was "reported to Fodor's" for. I would be very leery of meeting him or giving him any personal info. He continues to insult and lie about other posters he has met in GTG's...on both US and Europe boards he has been "outed".

I've started all that and I'm the first one to start whining. It's raining! Are we still on in the rain?

I can still make it if others would like. I can't see taking pictures with me looking like a drowned rat, though.
