If she is staying in Pacific Heights and there are permit only parking stickers, I think you can contact the police department to get a visitor sticker for a day or too. At least you could many years ago where there was permit parking.

You can still get temporary permits for visitors Shar--$15 for per day last time I got some. The resident of the area has to apply get one from SFMTA either in person or on line.
