Enjoyed your report and great pictures. I am planning my first trip to San Francisco this summer and you gave me some great ideas (especially the bike over bridge/ferry back plan).

One question (don't laugh please): What is the significance of Haight/Ashbury streets. While I know I have heard of both, I don't remember why?

Thanks for your link - and I think I need to check out your other trips at your site as well.

Happy Trails,
Paul

Thanks for posting such positive feedback...glad you all liked the photos!

Paul: Haight-Ashbury was the hub of the Hippy movement back in the sixties.
