san antonio weather

I was scheduled to attend a conference in San Antonio in early November, which would have been pleasant temperature-wise. My new conference dates are 09/29/07-10/02/07. What can I expect in terms of heat and humidity? We'll be staying at the Westin on the Riverwalk. Is this a desireable hotel? Is it fairly close to tourist attractions?

Any place on the Riverwalk will be a primo location and near the best tourist attractions in town. At that time of year the weather is perfect. The worst of the heat will be behind us, but it won't be cold. Of course there could be rain, but otherwise it's a fantastic time of year to be in SA.

Perfect weather. Not AUGUST humidity and not NOVEMBER chills. Westin and Riverwalk go hand in hand.

True, the weather will be cooler than August and warmer than November, on average. When I was there in mid-October, it was still very warm, but certainly bearable. See http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ewx/html/cli/satnorm.htm

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll look forward to warm, but not oppressively hot weather, and I'll be in a good location!
