Sacramento restaurant in Old Town
Please help! What is the name of the fun restaurant in Old Town by a yellow bridge? It is also by a big parking garage and by some railroad tracks. It's on the river and has fun music and pretty good food.
We can't think of the name and we want to meet friends there on our way up northern California. Seems like it was close to the freeway also.
Thanks for your help, Barbara

Since we answered the Q that the place is Joe's....
Suuuuuz....we have a Sacto GTG pool to see what your excuse will be for not showing up....besides me being there.
I have "Tea with the Queen". Am I close? :-?
BTW...have you tried "Mas" yet? The old Cafe Bernado's?
Once Mrs Kal and I shake off our respective colds, we're grabbing the lovely and now living in So Placer Co. Cobbie and will prob hit it or the new Blue Nami. Just in case the Queen is busy you have an open invite for the mini-GTG.

What is the Blue Nami?
Visited La Provence, completely mediocre but will have to give it another go since I purchased 2 of those gift certificates that channel 10 or some radio station promotes.
Probably don't have tea with the queen coming up but I do have 2 kids (16 & 12) keeping me on my toes! I should be driving a yellow car with checks on the sides if you catch my drift....

'nami is a new sushi place that will give Mikuni's a run for it's $$$$.
Their 1st location is in O'vale and is always SRO.
It seems like LaP is either a big hit or a big miss. We've just ate munchies in the bar so far.
Haven't been to a Sat wine tasting at the next door Cap Cellars all summer. Where DID the time go?

Suze, I was at their deli for lunch today. I eat at the deli quite frequently. The food has gotten better. The gals I ate lunch with today had dinner at Masque earlier this week. They commented that it still has great food. I haven't been to dinner there since one of the partners left.

Anyone tried Gaylord's yet? Was there last Friday and the service was a little uneven (inexperienced waitstaff - not at all unpleasant just not sure of some things) but the food was great - especially the rogan josh and garlic naan.
