I woke up late.....so, I will be a little late to our gathering. (You'll be glad I got some rest!)
Probably take a cab directly from SFO to Balboa arriving around 7:00 instead of 6:30. (plus I had to think, am I really going to meet these fodorites?) YES, if the weather holds up and allows us to land, yes!)

Well...I have been exhibiting signs of either the stomach flue or food poisoning all morning. AACK! It is truly awful. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it now. If I've got a bug (and one has been going around work) I don't want to infect my fine fodors friends with it. Either way don't be surprised if I'm not there, but save me a luggage tag and toast me the with that bastard please!

OK, I've got the white wine.
It's a 2003 Windermere Chardonnay. That's Central Coast.
Faina: I also have some Johannisberg Reisling which is sweeter. Should I bring that too?

Thanks for thinking of non-alciholic things for me to imbide. I'll try telling the bug to get lost, but at this point I think it is setting up housekeeping and decorating my stomach to this point.

iamq: I am no streetwalker!! I get picked up by amazing people, and I pick up some attractive ones too. Btw, Mels is getting picked up at some corner in south city in a couple of hours. Sending get well fast wishes your way and will e-mail you to get your address for the party goodies.

HT: Mahalo to you! I'm going home to see my DM in fall so won't be heading to HI again, are you trying to top Pasadena? Our GTG is a low key small time event, we'll have loads of fun for sure, Mels will give you the inside scoop. Aloha!
