Roy's Naples or Bonita Springs ?

Hi there
I will be staying at La Playa, Naples and I wondered which of the above Roy's is nearest ?
Is one particulary nicer than the other ?

Many thanks

I can't answer your questions (when we were there, only the one in BS was open), but be sure to get the Hawaiian martini. To die for.

Not a lot of difference. From LaPlaya to Roy's in Bonita is about 8 miles. From LaPlaya to the new Roys in "downtown" Naples is about 10 miles. The latter will take a little longer to drive due to traffic, but not much. Thank goodness traffic has started to really die down this past week.

The new Roy's in Naples has been a much anticipated opening, so I doubt if I'll try it in the next month before I leave to travel -- it is very busy. I'm thrilled with its opening as it is only a few blocks from my place -- I could walk (and probably will). Better than the 18 miles for me to the old one! If you can, you might want to make reservations there just because it is newer and affords you the opportunity to add in strolling Fifth Avenue before or after dinner, if you aren't doing that another night.
