Royal palms or Boulders resort, AZ

Both are about the same in price. We are looking for a romantic resort. Which one would you recommend.

Love Royal Palms resort!
We will be there this weekend..T. Cooks is outstanding too.
Have stayed at the Boulders in Cave Creek but the staff are full of themselves..they forget that the customer is #1..
Can't think of a better place than the Royal Palms!

ROYAL PALMS!! It is my all time favorite resort! The rooms are excellent, the grounds are full of hidden spots, lots of little seating areas with firepits [for nighttime snuggles] the Spa is to die for, T Cooks is divine.... you get my point??

Here is a review I did:

http://www.fodors.com/community/unit...x-dec-2007.cfm

and

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...x_Arizona.html

I have a code somewhere for 50% off rooms, thru Dec. If you want it, let me know.

Here are some pictures"

Can I join you?? LOL

Wow DebitNM, thanks so much. Love your pics of the resort and can't beleive you got that rate. Those rooms are closer to $500 per night right now. Did you get to see the valencia vs designer casita's. I think the designer casitas are newer with newer tubs etc but the valencia casitas have mountain views (which I think I would enjoy more than a newer room). Just checking incase you got a chance to compare. And Yes I would love to have the 50% off code if you can find it. Thanks -- Mona

I am so sorry - I found the email but you had to book by 6/30/09 to get that discount.

Call them direct and see what kind of deals they can offer you; keep in mind they have a daily resort fee, but it includes tips for everyone on staff [except spa and food/drinks] and we loved not having to tip.
