Tess, football games in the Colisseum are much more comfortable for fans than the Rose Bowl. Easier access and parking, more comfortable seats with better sight-lines, and more bathrooms (fewer lines). Food choices and quality are less than great, but history and tradition factors are very high. The Olympic flame is lit at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I'd pick a game at the Colisseum any day over the hassle and discomfort of the Rose Bowl.

Thanks! My interest in Pasadena has been piqued since watching Rumor Has It. Didn't know that's where Mrs. Robinson lives/lived
Where would you recommend staying? I'm guessing the team will stay somewhere downtown but haven't been able to find out where--yet. I don't know if this is true of all college football fans but many Nebraska fans like to be near the team and all of the hoopla
I know downtown LA is a less than desirable place to call home base. We like Beverly Hills and LOVE the Hollywood Renaissance--would you recommend staying away from downtown? What are close, nice hotels to the Colisseum?
