We've never eaten there because from what I understand, they have a fixed menu and nothing is a la carte.
Also, we like to order different things so we can share.
Lastly, we have so many other restaurants in Charleston that we love (SNOB, Peninsula Grill, etc) that we just keep going back to our favorites.

deedeezee, thank, but we have been to Magnolia's and Poogan's Porch. We have only one night for dinner by ourselves. The rest of the time is with a group. Was looking for a different place.
Since you said to skip Robert's, does that mean you don't think it is worth going to?

Hi iceeu2,
I have no idea how to follow the previous post--or even why it's in your thread.
But, instead of Robert's, let me recommend Sienna restaurant on Daniel Island. Food is terrific, maybe a little pricey, but worth it. It makes a great dining out experience. We won't eat there often, but will go back someday soon.
Hope you've been well.
Kathy

Hi iceeu2,
A 100 year class reunion for icee! He hides his age well!
Daniel Island is the island slightly to the north and east, between Charleston and Mt Pleasant. It's in the Cooper/Wando rivers, and has an exit from the 526 bypass. It's a mostly residential and newly developed island, and has a cute downtown shopping and eating area. You'll need a car to get there, but I assumed you'd have yours.
About Spain--still going in May despite the dismal exchange rate.
Maryanne, I believe, will be there before us, in late April.
