There is a T stop in Revere on the blue line that will go into downtown Boston, but don't know how close the new hotel is. Is it on Revere beach? If so the T stop should be a short walk. I will try and find out and post back.
To get to Fanuiel Hall area get off the T at State St. and walk a few blocks to the Market. You will also walk by a bit of history, enjoy.

Ken I just called the hotel for you and it is no longer a Comfort Inn it is now a Marriott Courtyard, which is a bit nicer chain hotel.
The hotel is located at 100 Morris St, which is off Rt 1 in Rever and not close to the T station, however there is a shuttle service to the T that runs every half hour until 2pm and then as needed. You call the hotel when you want to be picked up at the station to go back to the hotel.
The local phone number in Revere, (which is just north of Boston) is (781)324-1900.
One more thing, while there I highly recommend having a sandwich from "Kelly's Roastbeef", it is known all over the Boston area and should be close to your hotel. That alone will get you to come back to the states. I grew up just the next town over in Winthrop, so whenever I go home to visit the FIRST thing I do is head out to Kellys. Who says you can't go home again? Lol.
Have a fun time in Boston.

Tweedy,
I cannot thank you enough. American hospitality at it's very best! If ever you are coming to Scotland, drop me a line - I'll do all I can to assist you. I am actually coming out in February to Boston, although on this ocassion I will be staying at the Midtown Hotel - but hey, I shall really look forward to tasting Kellys Roastbeef Sandwich. Mt mind is racing here, and in my inexperience can only assume that it may be something like the Philly Cheese steak which I love.
Thanks once again for your valuable help.
Take cate,
Kenneth

Ken I am gald to help and will take you up on your offer of help in Scotland, since that is my heritage, the river Tweed and all.
YOu will love Boston, there is so much to see and do, I would suggest getting a book on the city so you make sure not to miss anything.
February will be COLD in Boston, so take lots of "wooleys" and there will probably be lots of snow on the ground that time of year, though in the last few years the snow has not been quite so bad.
Kelly's is pretty famous around the area, and the sandwiches are huge.
So have a great time and email me directly if you have any more questions. [email protected]
