It's been a long time since we started thinking about retiring on the Eastern Shore, and just as an update, we haven't been able to spend much time thinking about it due to health issues and needing to be close to doctors, etc. We did go to St. Michaels for a weekend and really liked it, but didn't look at any real estate. Just poked around a bit. We occasionally spend a weekend in VA, but again, haven't looked for housing. I thank you all for sharing your info with me. We may not be able to retire there, but we're still happy to wake up every morning!
