Just got back (5th time in last 5 yrs.) and here's my advice. Go to the Animal Kingdom lodge and eat at one or both of their restaurants. The names escape me as they are African themes. We only at at the one that's a buffett (ate their twice) and found it be very good (any standards). The Jiko (I believe is the name) is their fine dining sit down and have heard nothing but great things. I would encourage you to take the shuttle to downtown disney (free) and try Bongo's (Cuban) or Wolf Gang Pucks joint. Both are quite good and if you prefer theirs a number of other places right near by (planet hollywood, rainforest cafe, crab house, etc). Enjoy!

Try the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary. Time your reservation so you can see the fireworks over the Magic Kingsom. They dim the lights and play the music during the fireworks and it is beautiful. The food is excellent and they have an extensive wine list. Have a great time.

"Contemporary" is the Contemporary Resort right in the heart of Disney property. You can get there via monorail or bus (which you have access to both by staying at the Coronado Springs).
The California Grill is on the top floor of the hotel and the previous poster is correct - a beautiful view of the fireworks at night.
You can take a bus to any of the hotels (Polynesian, Grand Floridian or Contemporary) or to the Magic Kingdom, and then hop on the monorail for a ride.
Another resetaurant we liked was at the Living Seas in Epcot - definitely needed reservations. You view the aquarium from the exhibit while you're eating. There were scuba divers, rays, all kinds of fish, and sharks while we were eating.
Another good place is Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian - another beautiful view. Both this and the one at Living Seas are expensive....
Good luck and Enjoy!

In Epcot, my favorite restaurants are Japan's Tempanyaki Room, very much like Bennihana. Norway's Akershus, probably the best bargain in Epcot, especially for lunch. For Italian food, I prefer Pleasure Island's Porto Bello Yacht Club. For Polynesian food, Ohana's is tasty and fun.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I did do the priority seating thing for the California Grill during the fireworks, that sounds very nice. Now I only have two more nights to fill........although we are leaning heavily toward one of the ones you guys recommend in the Wild Kingdom section.......
I have heard mixed reviews about the one at the Living Seas....
Any other suggestions are most welcome!

Were at Disney last month--Boma was excellent as was Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. Also tried Spoodles at the Boardwalk, Nine Dragons at Epcot, and Tony's at the Magic Kingdom. Food at these was fine and the wait staff very considerate and did all they could to meet our needs--but (food) was nothing "special".

We liked Tony's in the Magic Kingdom and the Italian restaurant at MGM - the name escapes me now. One thing to remember - if you like any of the dishes- ask for the recipe - lots of times they have them already printed up ready to take. Tony's serves this awesome Pesto that we have made several times at home since we got back!

I agree with LPB about Narcosee's at the Grand Floridian. If you time it right and get a seat by the window you can see the water light pagent as it passes by the resort. I also agree with Katie on the Artist Point restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge. They kept it open late for us when we arrived on our honeymoon. We had about six waiters giving us wonderful service and the food was excellent. At the time they had a cobbler desert that had a variety of berries that was delicious. The italian restaurant at MGM is Mama Melrose's. When we were there MGM was offerring preferred seating to the nightly laser/character show if you booked dinner reservations at one of four of their sit down restaurants. They call it dinner and show I think but don't always offer. You can ask at guest services inside the park once it opens. They only book these day of so get there early.

Avoid Nine Dragons at Epcot. It is the wortst, most expensive standard type Chinese Food you will ever find anywhere. The service is terrible. They would do so much better closing it down and opening a decent restaurant. Thai or Vietnamese food would be an improvement.
