Oil & gas business, I'll bet! Tons of folks are staying or moving to the area for all the new drilling they're doing.

You'd have to go to Glenwood Springs or Rifle to find any place decent to eat.

Oh well, I thought it was a good assumption... I used to work in the oil & gas biz and that would be about the only reason to go to New Castle - it's not a tourist hot spot! But it is well suited to visit some nice spots on the Western Slope like the Colorado National Monument.
